The new song from 'Raees' titled "Udi Udi Jaye" has been released and it is the first time we'd be witnessing King Khan grooving to some killer garba moves! This is also his first ever Gujarati song.

The song has been specially released for the harvest festival, Makar Sankranti which is on 14th January. This colourful festival is widely celebrated where kite flying competitions are looked forward to and played with immense excitement.

While SRK and Mahira Khan sizzled in "Zaalima," "Udi Udi Jaye" looks like a cute love song where their chemistry is endearing. Sung by "Chaiyya Chaiyya" singer Sukhwinder Singh, the song has a grand dance sequence against a bright, colourful backdrop and is visually appealing. It is strikingly refreshing to see the Badshah dance to Gujarati beats in his pathani, along with his co-star, Mahira who beautifully manages to shake a leg with him.

In the trailer, we had caught a glimpse of SRK flying a kite on a rooftop and this has led to 'Raees' drawing a lot of attention in the kites market for Makar Sankranti. We surely feel that Makar Sankranti will turn out to be even more special with "Udi Udi Jaye" winning a lot of hearts and soaring as high as the kites in the sky.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the much awaited Film of the year releases on 25th January, 2017.
