One of Vijay`s close friends in the industry is popular actor-director Raghava Lawrence who has carved a huge niche for himself after starring in and directing the blockbuster Muni` and Kanchana` series.

Since Puli` is being received well by women and children all over Lawrence arranged for a special screening of the film for the underprivileged children of the Raghava Lawrence Trust yesterday. Illayathalapathy Vijay`s performance and the graphically created bird, tortoise, panther and other visuals kept the children glued to the screen and they all gushed about how much they enjoyed Puli` after the show was over. It is also learnt that many schools in Tamil Nadu are taking their children to watch the movie. Looks like Puli` will join the 100 crore club soon.
