Looking good and having all its `babeness' the second installment of India's paranormal activity 'Ragini MMS 2' looks gorgeous in those posters - where Sunny Leone, the hot Indo Canadian bimbo who has pleased many libidos around the globe in her purana (porn) avatar in this `horrex' (horror sex) as its being marketed, turns out to be basically a formulaic throwback lacking in personality and failing to offer enough sex or suspense to justify its addition and Sunny Leone inclusion.

Acceptably scary and teasingly tilting for those who get scared around by anything offered by B-town scareinema (horror) films and are okay with just a solitary smooch and a girl to girl kiss in this so called Sunny Leone sultry tilt. Otherwise, Balaji's `Ragini MMS 2' helmed by Bhushan Patel (1920:Evil Return, famed) fails to succeed even on its own limited terms as an Horrex.

Bhushan and Ishita Moitra (dialogues) take it further from the prequel borrowing from horror flicks and shows from the west, beginning right from the opening credits. 'Ragini MMS 2' opens with the possessed Ragini in mental asylum pleading for help, while Rocks (Pravin Dabbas) announcing a film on Ragini's story introducing the porn sensation Sunny (Sunny Leone). He wants to shoot at the actual location where Ragini got possessed. The shoot begins and the audience is introduced to some comic characters like Sandhya Mridul (does well) and Karan Mehra (good) and a writer Sahiil Prem who presumably are added to provide comic and romantic relief. But alas, the spook doesn't come in plenty and it becomes tiring to watch Sunny Leone's toned body in those designer panties smelling something eerie.. doesn't quite carry.

Anyways the occasional spook does happens with some titillations by Sunny but not before popping into a rain song with the writer that comes from now where in this scare. Thank Heavens; a foreign returned psychiatrist played by Divya Dutta unfolds the twist in this spooky tale, providing the best eeriest moment of the movie -  during the climax without any surprise. Also providing the most `connecting' and interactive moment of the entire film - when the audience moans 'Sequel!' which is more pleasurable then Sunny Leone's fake orgasm parody in this `horrex' malady which tell lines such as `tum porno se Rituporno kab ban gayi'.

Deep smart lines are not expected in such genre but still... The technicalities are up to the mark and the VFX are done smartly though the background is sometimes unnecessarily loud and the music is designed to sell the film and Vodkas.

Sunny Leone is gorgeous but she still needs to act. Acting is not just faking orgasms and moaning in front of camera.

'Ragini MMS 2' is neither that sexy nor that scary as it should be nor its horrible either. That's not to say the movie's good - Well maybe after Chaar Bottles of Vodka the movie might become.. if not you..
