Ragini is 'Bangari'

'Bangari' was launched a few days earlier to the release of 'Chingari' in Kannada filmdom. A befitting title to the tall, lanky lass of Kannada cinema Ragini 'Bangari' was launched on Monday morning by Shiva Shankara Film Productions. The second film of this banner is starring Shivarajakumar in the lead role. Shivarajakumar sounded the clap board on Monday morning at Kanteerava studios while Public TV chief HR Ranganath switched on the camera for the muhurut shot captured by debutant in Kannada Ma Chandru. Chandru has penned the story and screenplay for this film. Ekalavya besides writing a song has penned the dialogues for the film.

'Bangari' also sees the birth of new producer Ellappa A and director Ma Chandru. Ellappa is a realtor while Ma Chandru has worked as assistant director to three Tamil films. According to director Chandru the film is based on a real life happening. The complete trust kept on a person goes awry the resultant impact is focused in this film. The belief of a youth receives a boulder shock. Besides this the mother sentiment, love, action and comedy are tucked by Chandru to suit the present generation of audience. He has also kept in mind the demands of Yogish and Ragini in the market.

Out of 65 days Ma Chandru is shooting 32 days in Kolar and a new Shiva statue is getting ready for this purpose. Recently for ‘Shiva’ Kannada film shooting starring Shivarajakumar at KGF a huge statue was erected by Ishwari Kumar for climax portion.

Ragini in title role ‘Bangari’ daughter of affluent family in the film and Yogish is the male protagonist. The role I play is tough, sweet and classy one she says. The story is not an extraordinary but realistic angle it is narrated.

Ellappa dreamer since twenty two years is investing Rs.3 to 4 crores for his first film. He says the politics in the family matters is also in the film. Kannada audience support my project I would make more films in Kannada cinema says the humble producer.

Yogish says he has not worked in this kind of subject. The director waited for last three years. When politics use a person for wrong reasons what is the focus of the person is discussed in this film he said.

Niranjan Babu Cinematography and AM Neel music for eight main songs and two bits part of this film.
