It’s like all evils are getting connected on screen... The directorial reins of the sequel of 2011 paranormal thriller ‘Ragini MMS’

Ekta Kapoor has zeroed in on a director for her keenly awaited 'Ragini MMS-2', starring Sunny Leone.

Impressed by the promos of director Bhushan Patel’s recent hit, '1920- The Evil Returns', the Balaji team signed him on to take the ‘Ragini’ franchise forward.

Tanuj Garg, CEO-Balaji Motion Pictures, says, "What started off as a humble experimental film has turned into a huge franchise. We took a leap of faith in signing Bhushan even before his first release. Given the film’s impressive film’s box office performance, it was the right decision in hindsight...

Says Bhushan Patel, "To add to the excitement of delivering a hit, is the opportunity of directing another hit franchise for the Balaji banner. I am looking forward to Ragini MMS-2....

The film is expected to go into production in January 2013.
