Raja Rani shooting begins in the presence of Kamal Haasan

Director Atlee's directorial debut, Raja Rani, began shooting today with actor Kamal Haasan inaugurating the event. The film features Arya, Nayanthara and Jai in the lead and is expected to be an aggressive triangular love story.

Produced by A.R.Murugadosss' and Fox Star Studios, the film began it's first schedule at a bungalow in Greams road. It consisted of a song sequence involving Jai and Nayanthara. Arya is expected to join the team after completing his current project 'Settai', for which he is currently shooting in Mumbai. The actor will therefore be joining the team in the second schedule.
