If you think bilingual ‘Naan Ee’ is only popular in Andhra Pradesh as ‘Eega’, your mistaken! The satellite rights of ‘Naan Ee’ have been sold for a whooping 3. 35 crore rupees in here! This is quite an achievement by itself for it’s the price that’s usually paid for big films by bankable stars.

The satellite rights of ‘Eega’ were sold for 5 crore rupees as per reliable sources. Remember the film is red hot in trade, thanks to an out and out entertaining script loaded with graphics targeting all classes and age groups of audience.

Looks the filmmaker is surprised as well. For he wrote on his microblogging page, “When Eega Tamil rights were sold for 5 crores, I was a bit worried that we are overselling. Tamil satellite rights were sold for a whooping. 3.35 crores! We are left wondering whether we undersold the rights.”

‘Naan Ee’ is much expected in trade thanks to the novice script. The movie marks the foray of top notch Telugu director SS Rajamouli in Tamil and has Nani and Samantha in the lead roles with music by MM Keeravani. It’s a thriller that showcases how the hero avenges his death by reincarnating as a house fly.
