Director M.Rajesh's combination with Santhanam has a comedian has worked out hilariously in his 'Siva Manasula Sakthi', 'Boss Engira Baskaran', 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' and 'Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga'. After Santhanam started acting as the lead hero, Rajesh had to replace him with other comedians in his last film 'Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru'.

Now much to the delight of the fans Rajesh and Santhanam will be teaming up for a film. This time Santhanam will play the lead actor under Rajesh's direction. The film will be produced by Sri Thenandal Studios Limited.

In his interview to a English daily, Rajesh has confirmed that he has narrated the script to Santhanam and plans to commence the shoot in July or August. Nothing else has been finalised about the project as of now.

Santhanam is currently shooting for 'Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum', 'Sakka Podu Podu Raja' and 'Mannavan Vanthanadi' directed by Selvaraghavan. He plays the lead role in all these films.
