Superstar Rajinikanth and the producers of 'Kuselan' have reportedly come forward to compensate the losses, paying heed to the demands of the Exhibitors who had acquired the release rights of the film.

Reports indicate they have come to a decision to compensate Rs. Seven Crores, which would be divided among the Exhibitors based on the amount they had paid to bag the theatrical rights of 'Kuselan'.

Meanwhile, in order to compensate the loss faced by the Master Distributor Pyramid Saimira, it is said that Rajini would act in a movie to be produced by them once Rajini completes 'Robot'.

However, this gesture has not been found reasonable by the Exhibitors' Association. The Association had a meeting after all these developments and came out with decisions regarding the unpleasant tussle. They want more money back as the Minimum Guarantee (MG) amount they had paid out was enormous.

The Secretary of the Exhibitors' Association Pannerselvam stated that if the loss is not compensated they would be forced to boycott the future films involving all those concerned.

Meanwhile, a few Exhibitors from Karnataka are presently in Chennai to meet the producers of 'Kuselan' and Rajinikanth to ask for compensation as the movie has reportedly not done well in that state as well.

Says an Exhibitor from Karnataka, 'we kindly request superstar Rajinikanth and the distributors of the film to kindly compensate us as well because we have also gone through severe losses.

Let's hope all is well in the coming days.
