It was said that the deleted scenes from Superstar Rajinikanth's latest blockbuster 'Kabali' will be released on the lead actor's 66th birthday that fell on December 12, 2016. However that did not happen probably because Chennai was stuck by the devastating Vardah cyclone.

Now the makers have come with a surprising announcement on 'Kabali' deleted scenes. It has been confirmed that the scenes will be released tomorrow (December 31, 2016) as a New Year treat to Thalaivar fans as well as the movie buffs.

'Kabali' directed by Pa.Ranjith and produced by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu had Rajinikanth playing an ageing gangster in search of his lost family. The film despite getting mixed reviews initially, impressed the family audience and turned out to one of the huge grossers of the year.
