The shooting of Shankar's 2.0 had to be called off today after Superstar Rajinikanth suffered an injury while shooting at the famous VIT Chennai campus in Melakotayoor.

The actor was taken to Chetinad hospital where he was administered treatment. Rajini went to his home after the treatment.

The incident took place at around 5 p.m.
