Rajini's 'Polladhavan' to be remade

Veteran film personalities Muktha Srinivasan and Muktha Ramaswamy needs no introduction. They have combined with greats like Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan to come up with some engrossing silvers screen blockbusters.

Their noteworthy ventures include 'Cinema Paithiyam, Thavaputhalvan, Suriyakanthi, Polladhavan, Simla Special, Avan Aval Adhu, Paritchaikku Neramaachu, Kadhanayagan and 'Nayakan'.

Now after a brief interval, the Mukthas are back to recreate their magic on screen. Having rechristened their production house as Muktha Creations Private Limited, Muktha Srinivasan now joins hands with his brother Ramaswamy's son Muktha Govind to produce three films.

Interestingly they have planned to remake three of their earlier ventures - Rajinikanth starrer 'Polladhavan' , Sri Priya- Lakshmi and Sivakumar starrer 'Avan Aval Adhu' and Pandiyarajan-S Ve Shekher starrer 'Kadhanayagan'.

With eminent star cast and popular names getting involved for the remake version, the shooting is expected to begin very soon, a press release said.
