While all are eagerly looking forward to Rajiv MenonÂs forthcoming biopic on legendary singer MS Subbulakshmi, the project has already hit troubled watersÂ
The filmÂs progress reported to have stalled due to a stay order filed by the well-acclaimed producer Somaprasad. According to him, he had purchased the rights of ÂMS - A Life in MusicÂ, a book by TJS George and had planned to adapt the book into film which was supposed to be helmed by Menon. However, Somaprasad cited that tables turned, when without his knowledge the director went ahead to associate with another banner to direct that film. And so he decided to plead for injunction order.
Meanwhile Rajiv Menon is yet to come up with his own justificationÂ
The biopic will feature Vidya Balan playing the lead.
