The captivating style of operation is the need for this type of kidnap based story. That is what missing in this film. Every scene moves like a theatre play in the forest backdrop. Saikumar the dialogue king is reduced to a mute spectator. He walks in agile style with his hands inside his jacket. This is nothing but a thorough walk for him in the deep forest. The lackluster story line, screenplay, dialogue and performance spoil the intentions of debutant producer. There is no protector (meaning of Rakshaka) for the producer in this film to save him in the box office.

The story is wafer thin. The minister son is kidnapped by Maran gang in the deep forest for a huge ransom. How the kidnap drama ends with the intervention of cop Partha (Saikumar) forms the rest of the story. In this lengthy and boring narration the quick moments and some startling escapades should have been taken care.

Saikumar fails to impress. In this film he has no politicians, underworld dons and social evils to shout and give lectures. He has trees and plants around him. This is just an addition to the list of films in his career.

None of the other co artistes deserve any mention.

This reviewer has wasted his time by watching this film. You don't repeat it.
