Rakhee

Thursday, January 1, 1970 • Telugu Comments

Among the Telugu directors, Krishna Vamsee is one man who has shown a spunky style of mixing mass and class elements in acceptable blend. His movies always carry popular appeal and they are lined with an artistic touch.

On the other hand, NTR, with an endearing image, is a robust and realistic actor. There is a natural fit between Vamsee and NTR as both carry an intrinsic feel for larger than life themes.

This ability has come handy as the two are now ready with Rakhee. The movie, in a nutshell, is about brother-sister relationship.

Now if you wonder what can be unique in such a theme, well, the answer lies in the delivery of the theme.

Krishna Vamsee has worked assiduously on the script and has come out with a unique flavor that is full of energy and enterprise. That is essentially his hallmark.

NTR is paired with the hot and happening Ileana. It is an explosive combination. NTR is full of efficient effort and gusto-filled attempt. Ileana is a leggy lass with all the right curves and pouts. Glamour meets gusto, in other words. Suhasini plays a lady DSP and is very vital to the story.

Rakhee has the potential of being a blockbuster.

Both NTR and Krishna Vamsee believe that the film will be a big hit.

The film is jointly produced by KL Narayana and S Gopal Reddy under the banner Durga Arts.

The film has been made with his production standards and the producers have spent money on it with passion and pride.

Devi Sri Prasad's music is already a big hit among the masses. The songs are rocking and they seem to give NTR a good platform to showcase his sublime dancing abilities.

Rangu Rabba Rabba song is already a hit. The other highlight is a song sung by actor Mamta Mohandas.

NTR is thrilled with the subject and its handling. He says he was personally able to connect with the story of sister sentiments. NTR, an emotional person, also owes it to the two producers, who have made this movie with rare conviction.

Rakhee, on the whole, promises to be a big celebration.
