Rakul Preet Singh feels strongly about gender issues. Fittingly enough, she has been roped in as a brand ambassador of the Narendra Modi government's flagship initiative, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao`, for Telangana. As the name of the program suggests, it promotes both healthcare and education of the girl child.
"Extremely honored to be the brand ambassador of Telangana for the #Betibachaobetioadhao campaign. Let the change begin. Big Thank you to the govt of Telangana and associated organizations for having me as a part of such an important cause!" Rakul tweeted, hashtagging GirlPower.
