Director-Producer Ram Gopal Varma known for his controversial tweets and comments is all set to make a shocking revelation about involving Forest Brigand Veerappan and Superstar Rajinikanth.

The 'Sarkar' director has said that he came to know from sources close to the slain brigand that he was actually planning to kidnap Superstar Rajinikanth like he kidnapped Kannada Superstar Rajkumar. This has been included as a scene in his upcoming film 'Veerappan' which is all set to hit the screens on May 27. RGV has claimed that the film has been made from the point of view of those who were involved in the encounter of the sandalwood smuggler.

Veerappan kidnapped Rajkumar in the year 2000 when the latter was staying in his farmhouse in Thottagajanur of Erode district. He kept the star as his hostage for 108 days. Veerappan was shot dead by the Tamil Nadu Police in the year 2004.
