Yesteryear hero and former MP Ramarajan will don the greasepaint after a long gap.
The actor was a huge sensation in Tamilnadu's rural areas with super duper hits in the form of 'Karagatakaaran' and 'Enga Ooru Paatukaaran'. He was also quite famous for his weird dressing sense .violet shirts, red trousers with matching shoes.
The actor-politician will act in a film titled 'Medhai', to be directed by N T G Saravanan, a former associate of director Hari. Ramarajan says he is raring to go. Kerala girl Jyothirrmayi is set to share the screen with Ramarajan. Vadivelu is also in the cast.
It may be recalled that another veteran hero Mohan is making his comeback in Kollywood with 'Suttapazham'.
At a time when the industry is firmly controlled by young heroes, one has wait see if these veteran have it in them to recreate their old charm.
