Ramya Aims to Parliament

On Wednesday while the Worker Day celebration was in zoom the sandalwood queen Ramya was the guest at the ‘Meet the Press at Press Club of Bangalore’. Press Club of Bangalore and Bangalore Reporters guild jointly held meet the press with Ramya was well attended. It showed the demand of the much sought after actress Ramya who is Divya Spandana in other languages.

I am interested in contesting elections to the Parliament, I have to get the nod of the seniors in the Congress-I for that answered Ramya for a question on her interest in contesting elections.

For the current assembly elections I was not prepared and had commitments in the cinema. I am not expecting any positions as of now. There are many seniors in the Congress-I Ramya replied.

On her initial days ambition Ramya stated that she had the ambition of becoming Miss World. In films I wanted to stay for two years but my first film ‘Abhi’ became very successful. Such encouragement made me to stay in cinema industry in the last ten years working in nearly forty films answered Ramya for a question.

On coming to politics Ramya is very clear. I have come here not because of Rahul Gandhi or SM Krishna inspiration. I have met Rahul Gandhi twice and he is the future leader of this country and take India to the path of further development pointed Ramya.
