Director Sekhar Kammula, who is off the radar post the debacle of Anamika, is planning to direct a sequel to his political drama Leader. The film which marked the debut of Rana Daggubati to Tollywood was widely received for its intriguing plot and narration.

According to reports, Sekhar Kammula is currently busy working on the script and he might complete drafting the final copy by this summer. Rana Daggubati will be retaining his role as the Chief Minister Arjun Prasad in this sequel. The film is likely to be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu and will go onto the floors once Rana wraps up Ghazi and Baahubali: The Conclusion. A leading production house is going to bankroll this project. More details are awaited.
