Rana Daggubati is now in the top league on Twitter. He is in the company of the likes of Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli in terms of the number of followers on the micro-blogging site.

He now has 3 Million followers, something even most of the superstar heroines doing Southern films don't have. Rajamouli at 3.44 million is above him and everybody else, while Mahesh at 3.37 million trails the director by a small margin. Even superstars like NTR and Allu Arjun have about 1 million and 1.5 million followers, respectively. Many celebs are more popular on Facebook than Twitter.

Rana's tweets are mentioned in national media more often than others from Tollywood. This also partially explains his popularity on social media.
