Jeeva paired up with Karthika for a Tamil film 'Ko' directed by KV Anand. The Tamil version was a runaway hit in Tamil. Noticing the response, the film was dubbed into Telugu by S Kumar, R Jayaraman on the banner of Super Good Movies.

It is no surprise that the film had also become a big hit in Telugu. Despite a heavy competition from the original Telugu films like '00% Love', 'Veera', 'Badrinath' and '180' and dubbed films like 'Vaadu Veedu', the film withstood it and successfully completed a 50-day run and is aiming to complete 100 days.

It is learnt that the film is now getting ready to be remade in Hindi too with Akshay Kumar as hero and Karthika is making her debut as heroine in Bollywood with this movie.
