Rashmi and Pooja Gandhi for replacement?

'Demand of high remuneration for sister role, lack of attitude for hearing the story narration has made the producers of 'Bandhu Balaga' (starring Shivarajkumar) to replace 'Dhuniya' fame actress Rashmi Tejaswini of 'Mathad Mathadu Mallige'. 'Savi Savi' Nenapu has come in place of Rashmi for the sister role now', says one of the two producers Soorappa Babu.

Rashmi demanded Rs.10 lakh for the 15 days call sheet but finally it was settled at Rs.7 lakhs. When she was asked to attend the story narration of the film, she did not come and sent her mother and secretary. This has irritated senior producer Soorappa and made him to look for a replacement.

The song recording pooja for the film 'Bandhu Balaga' is taking place at Hamsalekha studio on the house warming celebration day of superstar Shivarajkumar on October 18. Naganna is the director of 'Bandhu Balaga' while ace story writer Janardhana Maharshi has lent the story.

Meanwhile another case of replacement has surfaced. Pooja Gandhi after accepting the role agreeing for the remuneration (Rs.5.21 lakhs) she has demanded the 'Mungaru Male' heroine declined to allot the dates for shoot for 'Ganga Cauvery' directed by Vishnukanth for producer Venkatappa. Mahi, a north Indian plays the lead with another well known heroine Mallika Kapoor. Akshay son of producer Venkatappa is the hero of this film.

According to director Vishnukanth,'The attitude of Pooja Gandhi is irresponsible. We have arranged for Rs.2 lakhs costume for her and it is now going waste' he says. Pooja also applied pressure from a big hero after declining to act has irked director Vishnukanth.
