Raveena Tandon has supported the death sentence to Yakub Menon. The convict of 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blast case - hanged today morning in the Nagpur jail today on his 53rd birthday.

The actress took to the social media network and expressed her feelings by supporting capital punishment in such cases.

The Yakub Menon issue has witnessed a division in the world and film fraternities were a section of people from the bollywood fraternity vouching for life sentence on humanitarian grounds.

Raveena Tandon also took to her twitter handle today to express her views on the death penalty given to the convict. The actress tweeted saying that the capital punishment is must in obvious case` and that do not deserve mercy-life sentences at the taxpayers` expense.
