Farooque Shaikh and Deepti Naval who have given hits together like Saath Saath, Chashme Buddoor and Katha earlier are once again all set to create their 80's magic on screen with debutant director Avinash Kumar Singh's Listen Amaya. The couple will be making a comeback after a gap of 28 years. The film is a sweet tale of complex relationships between a widowed mother, a daughter and a photographer. The story moves forward with some lovely music by young and multi talented Indraneel Hariharan with lyrics by Punam Hariharan.
Hey Hey Mrs. K

The first song in the album `Hey Hey Mrs. K', gives an insight into the narration of the story. The lead protagonist Leela Krishnamoorthy, (essayed by Deepti Naval), popularly known as Mrs K runs a coffee- cum-book shop. The song describes the atmosphere of the coffee shops. It's a breezy number where you can imagine youngsters coming into the shop for a coffee and browsing over books. The story moves forward through this song. The music is light and begins with the lilting notes of the guitar interspersed with, harmonica, flute and beads and flowing melody. Lyrics are simple and carry the narrative forward. All the singers, including Ankur Sabarwal, Vidhi Sharma, Jeetendra Singh Jamwal and the composer have rendered effortlessly.
Mann Ki Patang

The second track in the album Mann Ki Patang is another soft breezy number rendered by Vidhi Sharma. The song begins with Light guitar strums and Vidhi Sharma takes over smoothly and goes into a high pitch effortlessly. There is a light sprinkle of flute sounds towards the middle. Just as the film lyrics by Purnima Hariharan are simple and hummable.

The rendition by the composer himself is very impressive. In his husky voice he simply takes the song to a next level. He is simply effortless and at ease just as his music itself.
Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si

Kishore Kumar's iconic and evergreen number 'Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si' from Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi takes you down memory lane. The song has been given a nice makeover by composer Indraneel who has lent his own touch and added a lot of humorous musical additions and beats give it a complete new fresh approach. Kunal Ganjawala's voice justifies the number. It infuses lighter moments and brings a breezy effect to the entire number.
Kashmakash

The album ends with Kashmakash, a soft ballad by Kunal Ganjawala. It's a light hearted song but a bit heavy on emotions. Once again Indraneel uses the guitar strums and drums infused with catchy lyrics. Kunal has rendition with emotions take the song to another level.
On The Whole: The album boasts of just three original tracks which are light and make it an enjoyable experience. We are sure Avinash Kumar Singh has done justice to the song in his approach and picturisation. The album is enjoyable and the young composer has brought in three lovely you can listen to on a long drive.
