Amidst the three big films starring Rajnikanth, KamalHaasan and Vijay releasing on the Tamil New year day, a movie starring Jay Akash is all set to compete with these biggies.

His long pending film Sevvel has finally been completed and would grace theatres on Tamil New Year’s Day.

According to the producer and director of the movie, Primose, Sevvel is a family drama and its all about a father and son played by Jay Akash and Raj Kiran.

These days, movies with good storyline and scripts have won the admiration of the masses. No doubt,Sevvel releasing among giants will have people welcoming it.

A newcomer Nisha is playing the heroine, while Kalabhavan Mani, Radharavi and Ponnambalam are also in the cast. Sevvela means red spear and it may turn out to be the dark horse in the race.
