As the remake of Rekha’s hit classic ‘Khoobsurat’ is shaping up well with Sonam Kapoor in lead, the veteran actress is keeping a regular tab on the film’s development, we heard. Since it’s a modern version of her film, which had bagged Filmfare Award for Best Film, Rekha is said to be keen that the new ‘Khoobsurat’ is made with perfect ingredients and matches to its original flavours.

In fact sources claim that the film’s producer, Sonam’s sibling Rhea Kapoor keeps Rekha informed about each and every development of the remake. And also sees to that every minute detail of the film has got an approval from the evergreen star. It is also said that Rhea has planned to hold special screening for Rekha, and will be the first person to watch the remake of ‘Khoobsurat’ before anyone else.

Meanwhile, Rekha is currently working on her film 'Super Nani'.
