Panneer Selvam's Renigunta would never have got so much pre-release publicity in Andhra Pradesh hadn’t it been for Suresh Kondeti. Following the success of his recent film, Journey, sections of lovers of realistic fare eagerly awaited Renigunta’s release. It finally hit screens on March 8.

Kondeti and team (including the lead pair, Jhonny and Sanusha), watched the film in two theatres in Hyderabad, and thoroughly felt happy that the audience response was satisfactory. The director says Telugu audiences have always encouraged sensible cinema.

The producer will watch the film in Guntur, Vijayawada, Elur, Rajahmundry and other towns in the next two days. He wants to express his thanks to the audience directly this way.
