There is nothing stopping Ram Gopal Varma from taking out on his critics. This time, the one in question is a Minister. Ramu is going creatively ballistic against Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, the AP Agriculture Minister, over the latter's remarks about 'Lakshmi's NTR'.

From saying that no heroine would want to act opposite Somireddy to suggesting that he has no brains to understand the life of NTR, Ramu is saying them all. When Somireddy allegedly said that even his servant wouldn't want to debate with RGV on NTR, the director asked: "(If I am not fit to debate with), why then did you respond to my comments about showing NTR's life as it is in the first place?"

"If NTR's life is distorted by telling the story from Lakshmi Parvathi's perspective, the people are not going to accept it?" Somireddy was quoted saying. To this, RGV's reply is this: "Did the crores of people out there come and tell this to you in your ear?"

RGV has it that Somireddy allegedly spoke disrespectfully about heroines.
