On the eve of Mirchi becoming of big hit, a press meet has been arranged here in Hyderabad. It has been attended by the director of the movie Koratala Siva, Richa Gangopadhyaya and the producer V.Vamsi Krishna Reddy.

On this occasion, Richa has thanked all the audience for making the movie a super hit with big openings. "I have been very happy at 'Mirchi' becoming such a big hit. The team of Mirchi has been the best team I have worked with, ever. The music by Devi Sri Prasad has been the highlight of the movie. I personally like 'Barbi girl' song, which I have been in, the most. But I also like 'Yedho yedho bhagundhe' song also very much. Anushkha and I have not been in any scene together. We have worked together for 'Nagavalli' also previously", she says.

About Prabhas, she says, "Prabhas has been a real darling to all. He has been very friendly with all in the sets. He shows no arrogance at all. I have been inspired with him in the sets. I have learnt so much from him. I have been looking forward to work with him again".

Koratala Siva says, "I have been very thankful to audience for making my first film a big hit with huge openings. We have been forgetting all the difficulties we have faced during this movie by seeing the wonderful response. I have been grateful to Prabhas for being with me and supporting me right from the beginning of the movie and the producers who has helped me so much even it has been my first film. We have attended over 1000 calls after the release of the movie till now, and no one says that they have found a mistake in any scene and they are congratulating us".

About signing a movie even before the first show of his debut film has been screened, Koratala Siva says that it has been not the right moment to speak about that and that he will come up with the details soon.

The producer of the movie, V.Vamsi Krishna Reddy says," Mirchi has got all time biggest openings in Nizam area and very big openings in all the other areas. Koratala Siva has given us an excellent movie. We thank all the audience for making the movie a huge hit".
