Wondering how and why? Then read on...
We all knew that Riteish Deshmukh was an entertainer par excellence. But 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' has shown his versatility.
He has turned lyricist and singer in the hit "UP Bihar Lootne" track, which has been rendered (for the first time together) by Sukhwinder Singh and Daler Mehndi.
When Balaji was working on a new version of Shilpa Shetty’s famous item number, being a Maharashtrian, Riteish asked his producer to extend the song to incorporate Maharashtra in it.
"Riteish was very excited about the song from the beginning. He spontaneously decided that Maharashtra be a part of the new song," says an insider from the film’s unit.
To ensure the authenticity of the track, Riteish turned singer and lyricist for the Marathi portions in the track and sat with the composers ‘Meet Brothers’ Anjjan to understand the meter and rhythm of the track.
As a result, the original song from ‘Shool’ (1999) has been reworked quite a bit.
When contacted, Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures confirms, "The UP-Bihar track shows us a new dimension of Riteish.
He has done a terrific job in bringing the track from UP and Bihar to Maharashtra. We have a sure-shot chartbuster on our hands."
