The stress of work took a toll on Riya and she fell sick with a 102 degree fever.
Being an experienced actress, Riya knows about the hardships of completing a film and knowing that the students making 'Guzarish' will only have a very small budget and has to work under severe time constraints, she did not care about the fever and continued the shoot in Whistling Woods and FilmCity.
In the film, Riya plays the role of a wife who is trapped between the thoughts about her husband and ex-lover.
