'Rock On' produced by Big Pictures and Excel Entertainment has a solid triumphant time ahead.

If last year 'Rock On' arrived as the underdog and went on to be a champion, this year is for the flick to hop around collecting awards.

To start with, the youthful movie directed by Abhihek Kapoor has already grabbed six awards at the recently held Star Screen Awards.

Farhan Akhtar got the best debutant actor award, while Arjun Rampal received the best supporting actor award and Shahana was selected as the best supporting actress.'Rock On' lens man Jason West got the best cinematographer award, while Deepa Bhatia was declared as the best editor. The art direction for ‘Rock on’ too won the top award.

Overwhelmed by the accolades, President of the Reliance BIG Entertainment Rajesh Sawhney said “’Rock On' as a film has gone beyond our expectations. It is great to see the film and music do so well and still, after six months of release the film's music is topping the charts. The film winning six awards pays up for the hard work that went behind making the film", commented an elated Rajesh.
