After giving a crime drama ‘Dum Maaro Dum’, filmmaker Rohan Sippy eventually has gone ahead to make ‘drama’ as the main them of his upcoming film ‘Nautanki Saala’. The promos and songs of ‘Nautanki Saala’ is garnering good response, in turn generating anticipation towards the release of the film.

The talented Ayushmann Khurrana of ‘Vicky Donor’ fame and Kunaal Roy Kapur of ‘Delhi Belly’ are looking promising with their hilarious acts with lavish backdrops in the trailers. But ask the filmmaker about the money that all went behind this impressive venture, Sippy will apparently smile it off.

For, in an interview he revealed that ‘Nautanki Saala’ would probably be one of the lowest budget films he has ever done! "On screen you will not feel that it's a small budget film and that is the magic of it. It's an entertaining film," quoted Sippy.

On other note, the producer-director is glad to see how audience has changed their perception about movies. Citing examples of ‘Vicky Donor’, ‘Kahaani’ and ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, Sippy observed that these days films with good content are being well accepted and also being awarded.

‘Nautanki Saala’ hits the screens on 12th April.
