The Bharathanatyam exponent, television actress turned heroine from 'Cheluvina Chilipili' the teenage sensation Roopika finding good response to 'Kalgejje' her recently released film is making debut in Telugu film 'Nagaraja – Anitha Yathartha Premakatha'. Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi actor Charanraj is the producer of this film. This is based on a real life story.

Roopika name was suggested by Kannada film dialogue writer Malavalli Saikrishna. Amar is the hero of Roopika debut film in Telugu.

Prior to becoming a heroine in S Narayan's 'Cheluvina Chilipili' Roopika was in sundry roles in 'Krishna, Gilli and Prem Kahani'.
