The market for Kannada film with a huge investment of Rs.30 crores highest so far in the history of Kannada cinema will be put to test this year from 'Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna' (KSR) a historical film starring challenging star Darshan, Nikitha, Dr Jayaprada and 30 other known actors of Kannada cinema for this Anand Appugol production.

Challenging star Darshan speaking to media after 'Chingari' audio release on Monday night said this historical film is very difficult to make. He has allotted 150 days call sheet for this film and allocating 10 days for the dubbing. The punches in the dialogues are too much. I have to strain my voice take rest and then again render dialogue.

Whether Rs.30 crore Kannada film is tolerable to the market status today? Every Kannadiga should see this well made film and that is on standards of any other language is the opinion. I agree to it. When such solid films are supported it is encouragement for us says Darshan.

Anand Appugol as producer, Darshan in lead role, Naganna as director, Keshav Aditya as dialogue writer and cameraman Ramesh Babu terrific input made in nearly 175 days of shoot ‘KSR’ is at the final stages of shooting.

It is difficult to shoot at one go for KSR kind of film. Nagannaji starts off with small portions and go to the high voltage ones in all the schedules. That is the correct way. I get ready a day earlier with dialogue sheets for this film.
