When director Gunasekhar has got ready to make a film on Rudramadevi, he has no other thought than to cast Anushka Shetty in the film. The film is going to be the first historical stereoscopic 3D movie in India and is being made with a whopping budget and huge star cast. ''Maestro'' Ilayaraja is the music director of this film.
Ganapathi Deva Chakravarthi role, which has got so much importance, will be played by Rebel Star Krishnam Raju and Prakash Raju will be seen in Mahamanthri Sivadevayya role. Ajay will be seen as Prasadaditya, Baba Sehgal as Naga devudu, JayaPrakash Reddy as Amba Devudu, Catherine Tresa as Annambika, Hamsanandini as Madanika.
Brahmanandam, Venu Madhav, L.B.Sriram, M.S.Narayana, Krishna Bhagavan, Aditya Menon etc played the other key roles in ''Rudramadevi''.Neetha Lulla, who has worked for big Bollywood films like ''Jodha Akbar'', is the costume designer for this film. Padma Shri Thota Tharani is the art director. Ajay Vincent is the cinematographer and Ram -Laxman are supervising the stunts for Rudramadevi.
Rudramadevi is being made in a lavish way.Huge sets, exotic locales,expensive jewellery etc will sure make this film a visual feast to the audiences.
