'Rudramadevi' to release on October 9th

After multiple postponements, Gunasekhar has finally fixed a release date for his forthcoming film 'Rudramadevi'.

This magnum opus, based on the life of great warrior queen Rudhramadevi, will release on October 9th in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Anushka plays the titular role in the film, in which Allu Arjun plays Gona Gannareddy and Rana Daggubati is Chalukya Veerabhadra.

The Hindi rights of the film were bought recently by Abhishek Pictures and Reliance Entertainment. 'Maestro' Ilaiyaraja is the music director. Gunasekhar, who also produced the film on Gunaa Team Works banner, is currently busy giving final touches to the movie. The film will be released in both 3D and 2D versions.
