S.J.Suryah goes legal after losing out on 'Vijay 60'

For the past few months it was widely reported that actor-director S.J. Suryah would direct llayathalapathy Vijay`s 60th film but as it turns out the most coveted opportunity has gone to director Bharathan of Azhagiya Tamizh Magan` fame.

S.J. Suryah meanwhile has decided to star in and produce a new film titled 174` to be directed by Manikandan a former assistant of Selvaraghavan. The thriller film supposedly deals with section 174 of the criminal procedure code relating to a person dying under mysterious circumstances. Suriyah apparently plays an investigating cop in the film and the details of the rest of the cast and crew members will be out soon.
