'Kaththi' or 'Thuppakki'? - Vijay's father reveals which is better

In his illustrious acting career, Ilayathalapathy Vijay has delivered many blockbuster mass action flicks such as 'Thirumalai', 'Ghilli', 'Tirupachi', 'Pokkiri', 'Thuppakki', 'Kathi' and the recent 'Theri'. His upcoming release 'Bairavaa' which is also the much loved star's landmark 60th film also promises to be a pucca mass action entertainer.

However the response of Vijay's parents when they were asked which is their most favorite film will surprise everyone. Both of them named a romance film that Vijay has acted amid long gap in his career.

In their exclusive interview to IndiaGlitz, Vijay's mother and renowned singer Shoba Chandrasekar revealed that 'Kadhalukku Mariyadhai' is her most favorite Vijay starrer. Vijay's father and Veteran director-actor S.A.Chandrasekar preferred 'Sachien' over many of his son's super hit and blockbuster films.

Explaining further, the veteran director said "He would have acted so cute in the film. Whenever the film is telecast in television I will make sure I watch it without fail. He would have done the role of a cheerful guy with immense humor sense. It is the first film for which I appreciated Vijay for his acting. I don't remember appreciating him like that for any other film before that."

Asked in what kind of films he wishes to see Vijay often, SAC said "My desire is that Vijay should act in characters that can be considered role model to everyone as he has many followers. Apart from this his films should also have social consciousness and good messages. I like 'Kaththi' over 'Thuppakki' because of the strong social message it carried."

Hope its time Vijay does an full-fledged romance flick soon to make his parents happier. Even the fans and movie buffs are eager for it as he hasn't acted in a love story after 'Kavalan' that released in 2011.
