Sanjay Dutt has done something that he hasn't for a really long time.

For his upcoming film which is a remake of Tamil blockbuster 'Saamy', he is said to have allocated as many as 100 days just for the shooting, hence making it one of the biggest that he has been a part of.

"The last time he did that was 'Agneepath' where he enjoyed an author backed role for himself", informs our source.

Resultantly director KS Ravikumar has been promised that not just will the film get completed on time, Sanjay Dutt would also be doing everything possible, right from getting into the best physique for the role but also come up with a splendid performance.

"In fact Sanju baba is more excited than ever before.

Even though he is currently occupied with the shooting of 'Sher', he is doing everything to prepare himself for 'Saamy' remake.

He has of course seen the original and feels that the role is just the kind that suits his age as well as personality.

After 'Agneepath', expect him to be seen in an altogether new avtar", the source continues.

With so much at stake and Dutt returning as a cop in the film, guess 100 days may well turn out to be a good bargain for all involved.
