Noted director Mahendran's son John made his debut as director with Sachin starring Vijay.

The movie had a mediocre run. Now after a year, John is back to do a movie. Interestingly, he would be doing a English movie, being produced by a Sri Lankan production house.

Actor Nanda and actress Madhumitha play the lead roles in the movie.

Nanda plays a doctor,who lives in Colombo, while Madhumitha dons the role of a scribe visiting Sri Lanka from India.

Nanda is pinning all his hopes on Kodambakkam, which he says would establish himself in Kollywood. After Kodambakkam, it would be the movie being directed by John, ‘which I look forward with eagerness’, he says with glee.
