Quite sometime back Karu Palaniappan started a film titled 'Sadhurangam', with Srikanth playing the lead role. But it could not see the light of the day due to 'unavoidable' reasons.

And now, attempts are on to revive the project as a new company has reportedly stepped in to give a fresh lease of light to it. "The film will hit the screens soon," sources say.

"Srikanth has played the role of a prisoner in this film, whose name is Tirupathisamy. Karu Palaniappan named the character so since it is the name of his late friend, who made Narasimmha," sources further say.

Saudharangam is touted to be a racy subject with so many twists and turns. "Though years had passed, the film is still fresh in content and making," add sources.
