Actress Sai Pallavi was offered a Mani Ratnam movie but the offer fell through with rumours floating around that Pallavi herself had rejected the offer as she was averse to doing intimate scenes. The actress has clarifies that one would have to be heartless to reject a Mani Ratnam movie.She added that it was the director himself who replaced her. The movie initially had a perfect spot for her and it was Suhasini Mani Ratnam who suggested her for the role after watching 'Premam'. However, with some changes in the script the role is reportedly gone to Bollywood actress Aditi Rao. Pallavi also says that she is looking forward for the movie as everyone else and is humbled that Mani Ratnam himslef took time to explain why she was let go from the project, with the role demanding a more experienced and intense portrayal with the change in script.
