Tuesday, October 24, 2006 • Telugu Comments

The combination of Mahesh Babu and Gunasekhar was proved a hit with 'Okkadu'. With the sensational hit like 'Pokiri', Mahesh Babu had got an enhanced image and the audiences as well as the industry has high expectations on his next film 'Sainikudu' as it is coming under the direction of Gunasekhar and this would again create a sensation.

Another speciality is that Trisha, who paired with Maheshbabu in 'Athadu', is again playing the female lead in this film. This film had another record to its credit - the audio of this film was released across the world simultaneously on the Diwali Day. While Super Star Krishna launched the audio at Padmalaya Studios at the main function, the audio cassettes were released across the world at the same time and all of them were joined together in the form of a video conference.

Harris Jayaraj gave fantastic tunes to all the six songs. It has melody, mass beat as well as tunes that could capture the youth in particular. This album reiterated that Vyjayanti Movies always promote good music and several of their films were musical hits.

Byla Bylamo  Singers: Leslie Lewis, Anushka, Sunitha Sarathy

Harris Jayaraj is known for using trendy tunes to his songs. This number has a music that suits this compliment. Besides modern musical instruments and humming, he nicely mixed the Shehnoy tune which enhanced the mass beat. Use of bass guitar and drums made the audiences to tap their feet. Use of violin in the second stanza proved his eminence in classical music. Jazz drum beat throughout the song boosted the tempo.

Mayeraaa.  Singers: SP Balasubrahmanyam, Unni Krishnan, Kavitha Subramaniam

This number is based on melody. All the three singers rendered this song with their melodious voice. The flute interludes between the stanzas elevated the mood in this song. The rhythmic drum beat, bass guitar string's voice, use of violin made the audiences to enjoy the song. Even the literary values in the song are also quite good. The humming in the end was used at the best to complete the lyric with a good passion.

Aadapilla Aggipulla  Singers: Hariharan, Chitra

This is a mass number. Hariharan gave a big boost to the song with his husky voice and Chitra's melodious voice was quite in sync with Hariharan. The interludes between the stanzas were given a typical music and at the same time the use of shehnoy is worth listening. Before the second stanza use of shehnoy and the humming elevated the tempo. The music in the song had a good scope for a group song.

Sogasu choodatarama Singer: Shreya Ghoshal

This is again a melody based song. Harris Jayaraj had used ghatam for this song to give a folk touch. At the same time he used the electric guitar for a typical music. Use of tabla helped in boosting the sound of the ghatam. Use of key board is clearly audible between the interludes. Shreya Ghoshal gave life to this solo song and filled good melody in it.

Orugalluke Pilla Pilla Singers: Karthik, Karunya, Harini, Malathi

Malathi who is known for item songs started the song with a high pitch. Karunya continued the song, assisted by Karthik and Harini. During the interludes Harris Jayaraj used key board for giving a typical and different music. With a mild guitar string music in the backdrop is also enhanced the beauty of the song. However, Malathi's voice dominated all the other voices in this song which had good literary values as well.

Go Go Go Adhigo.  Singer: Kay Kay

This is the title song and Kay Kay rendered this song with a good mass beat. Harris Jayaraj gave good music beat f
