While his recent release, the multi-starrer ‘Humshakals’ tanked at the box office without a trace, filmmaker Sajid Khan has put failure backseat, and is all geared up for his next. The director is currently said to be getting the script ready for his next project which is going to be a gen-next romantic comedy.

Quoted Sajid, "I'm busy scripting my next film, a youthful rom-com." Meanwhile there were wide speculations that he is going to helm Shahid Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Shaandar’. However, Sajid denied the news, saying "Yes, I was offered the film but no, I'm not doing Shaandar."

Incidentally, ‘Shaandar’ will be directed by ‘Queen’ famed helmer Vikas Bahl. It is said that the director, over a month, has been searching for someone who can play the role of a Sindhi businessman father in the movie.
