"I am very emotional right now. I am happy that the entire nation has loved the film." Says Sajid Nadiadwala whose 2 States has turned out to be one of the highest grossing films in 2014.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar, The Alia Bhatt-Arjun Kapoor starrer family entertainer has surpassed the 100 Crore mark in the domestic market.

Despite several new releases including Hollywood flick, The Amazing Spider Man, 2 States held its position strong at the box office in its third week and has maintained the pace in the fourth running week.

With such terrific response garnered for the love story adapted from Chetan Bhagat’s famed novel of the same name, the filmmakers are extremely happy with the response.

Looks like, 2014 is truly the year of Sajid Nadiadwala. The filmmaker is all geared up to launch Jackie Shroff’s son, Tiger shroff in Heropanti that hits the marquee on May 23, 2014.

Post which, his first directorial venture and the most awaited film of the year, Kick will be releasing on Eid.
