'Kandha Kottai' director, S.Sakthivel is back with his next venture, 'EGO'. This movie will star the debutant Velu who has completed his engineering in United States. Female lead role is to be played by Anaswara. Bala of Vijay TV 'Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal' is given a chance in a noteworthy comedy character. This movie will be produced by V.P.STILLIZ.

Cinematography, dialogues, editing and art direction are by A.V.Vasanth, 'Cable' Shankar, M.Bala and Sivashankar respectively. Songs and background music are scored by two different musicians – Kash Vllanz and Dhina. Two choreographers – 'Kaadhal' Kandas and Ashok Raja have worked for the movie. Vivega and PRO Nikil have penned the lyrics.

It is a fun family entertainer, said the director. He also added a few words about the film stating, some beautiful lies and unexpected happenings induces friendship, love, ego and hatred between the male and female leads. The furthermore happenings and twists are told with the combo of comedy and serious note.
