What's common between Salman Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput? Well, each of the three actors, ranging from the reigning superstar to the one film heart-throb to the newcomer who is waiting to be heralded as the superstar in the making, is finding his character taking shape through Chetan Bhagat's pen.

With the author's book and adapted screenplays deciding how they act and react in their upcoming films, there is a definite bond that the three men can enjoy in months to come.

"It is pretty apparent that Bollywood has indeed become the biggest priority for Chetan at least for next year or so.

After all, there are as many as three upcoming films that would feature his name in the credit rolls", says a source, "While Sushant Singh Rajput's 'Kai Po Che' is based on his novel 'The 3 Mistakes of My Life', Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are already on board for '2 States' adaptation which is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar. Moreover with Sajid roping him in for 'Kick' as well, Chetan's hands are indeed full as he is busy putting together Salman's characterisation for the film."

On being contacted, Chetan said, "It just so happened that many of my projects have been worked on for years and now a couple of them are arriving quite close to each other.

'Kai Po Che' is done and is now arriving early next year. Now '2 States' has also been announced while 'Kick' has come around as well in quick succession. It is just a coincidence."

While one waits to see how Sushant gets a worthy kick-start to his career with 'Kai Po Che', Salman and Arjun are already looking forward to how their respective filmmakers go by the written word of Sajid and translate it most effectively for screen.
