‘Singham’ superstar Ajay Devgn reported to have replaced ‘Dabanng’ superstar Salman Khan as a host in the upcoming season of ‘Bigg Boss’.

After Salman hosted the sensational reality show for four years, he apparently was not keen to be on Bigg Boss in the latest season. It was evident through the last season’s episodes that the actor was annoyed with contestants’ behaviour and with rumours about him being partial to certain inmates.

Speculations were rife that B-Town’s younger lots - Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh - might host Bigg Boss 8. But latest development says that Ajay Devgn will play host. Not confirming this directly, the actor said that he cannot comment if he will or will not host the show. Besides he is not sure if he will be able to manage the show like how Salman did. "Salman does it so well... he is watchable. I don’t know if I can pull it off like Salman. I have not seen all the episodes, but a little bit here and there," stated Ajay, who is known to be great friends with Salman.
